A schematic, not a survey: stations are evenly spaced and the lines straightened, the way a metro map is. Station names are the RTA’s as at September 2026; sponsors rename them from time to time.

Figures are the first named community’s, from its area guide: the median price per square foot of completed resales over the last twelve months, and median annual Ejari rents by layout where the community’s DLD area is its own. 19 of 30 stations here have them; a dash means the register cannot say, or the station stands where nobody lives.
Route 2020
Route 2020, the branch to Expo City
6 stations that leave the Red Line at Jabal Ali for Discovery Gardens, Al Furjan, Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai Investment Park and Expo City. Opened for the Expo, and the reason a home in Al Furjan is a metro home.

Questions people ask
The Dubai Metro, answered
How many stations does the Dubai Metro have?
54 stations in service: 30 on the Red Line, 6 on its Route 2020 branch, and 20 on the Green Line, with Union and BurJuman shared by both lines. The Blue Line adds 14 more in 2029.
What time does the Dubai Metro open and close?
Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 5:00 am to midnight, Friday from 5:00 am to 1:00 am, and Sunday from 8:00 am to midnight. Both lines run the same hours; the last trains leave the termini a little before closing.
How much is a Dubai Metro ticket?
With a Nol card in the standard Silver class, AED 4 within one zone, AED 6 across two and AED 8.50 for three or more. Gold class, the front carriage with the wider seats, is double. A paper Red ticket costs more per trip, so anyone riding twice buys the card.
Which metro line goes to Dubai Airport?
The Red Line, which stops inside Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. The Green Line’s Dubai Airport Free Zone station serves the free zone offices, not the terminals.
Which metro station is nearest Dubai Marina?
Sobha Realty and DMCC, both on the Red Line at the top of the Marina. The Dubai Tram runs from beside them along the Marina to Jumeirah Beach Residence and on to Bluewaters.
Is there a metro station in Jumeirah Village Circle, Dubai Hills or Arabian Ranches?
No. The metro follows Sheikh Zayed Road and the old city, and the inland communities — JVC, Dubai Hills Estate, Arabian Ranches, Damac Hills, Motor City — are car communities, ten to twenty minutes from the nearest station. The Blue Line does not reach them either.
When does the Dubai Metro Blue Line open?
The Roads and Transport Authority’s date is 2029, twenty years after the Red Line opened. 14 stations across two arms, joining the Green Line at Creek and the Red Line at Centrepoint, and putting Dubai Creek Harbour, Festival City, International City, Silicon Oasis and Mirdif on the map.
Deciding where to live along the line? The area guides take every community in turn, and each one names its stations.
