These terms cover your use of this website and the information on it. Using the site means you accept them. They do not replace the agreements you sign when you buy, sell, rent or let a property through us. Those are separate documents, and where they differ from these terms, they win.

Who we are

McCone Properties is a real estate brokerage licensed in Dubai and regulated by the Real Estate Regulatory Agency, part of the Dubai Land Department. Our office and licence details are at the top of this page.

What the site is for

The site shows the properties we are instructed to sell or let, the prices Dubai property has actually sold and rented for, and guides to how property here works. It is there to help you decide what to ask us. It is not advice, and nothing on it is an offer that can be accepted by clicking.

Listings

• Every property we advertise carries the permit number the regulator issued for it, which you will find on the listing page. Advertising a property without a permit is not allowed in Dubai, and we do not do it.
• Prices, availability and details come from the owner and from our own inspection, and can change without notice. A listing is an invitation to enquire, not an offer. Nothing is agreed until a written agreement is signed.
• Photographs and floor plans show the property as it was when we recorded it. Confirm anything that matters to you at a viewing.

Market figures and calculators

The sale prices, rents and other figures on our reports, area guides and building pages come from public records: sales registered with the Dubai Land Department and tenancy contracts registered with Ejari. We reproduce them faithfully and refresh them regularly, but they are records of the past and no guarantee of what a property is worth today. The calculators give estimates from the numbers you type in. Use them to think, not to decide, and take proper financial advice before you commit money.

Your use of the site

You may browse the site and print or save pages for your own use. You may not copy our listings, photographs, text or data to publish elsewhere, scrape the site, or use it to send us anything unlawful, misleading or abusive. Enquiries and applications must be genuine, and about yourself or someone who has asked you to act for them.

Text messages

If you opt in, McCone Properties may send you SMS messages about your property enquiries, follow-ups on them, property information you have requested, and appointment scheduling. You will only receive them if you have asked to.

Ours, and other people's

The text, photographs, design and data on this site belong to McCone Properties or to the people who licensed them to us. The McCone Properties name and logo are our trade marks. Public records remain public; our presentation of them is ours.

Links to other sites

We link to other sites where they are useful: the regulator, the land department, the portals and the like. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they say or do.

Availability

We keep the site running, but we do not promise it will be available at all times or free of errors, and we may change or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Liability

We take care over what we publish, but we cannot accept liability for loss that comes from relying on the site instead of on a signed agreement, a viewing or proper advice. Nothing in these terms limits any liability the law does not allow us to limit.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, tell us first, at the contact details above, and we will try to put it right. A complaint about a licensed brokerage that we cannot resolve can be taken to the Real Estate Regulatory Agency.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when we last did, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
