The building
Where the beach meets the reserve
This is a gated beachfront community at Al Jurf, on the coast between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The sea lies on one side. On the other is a protected natural reserve, green and quiet, where wildlife lives among the trees.
Ohana Development is building it with Jacob & Co., the watch and jewellery house, which shaped the design concepts. There are two collections: curving, terraced apartment buildings along the sand, and villas and mansions beside the canal, reserve and beach.
Daily life comes with hotel-style help: housekeeping, valet parking, a 24-hour concierge and home delivery. Residents share a private beach, a pool, a spa with a Russian banya, and four restaurants by the water.
