Ghaf Woods is the mall group's second Dubai community after Tilal Al Ghaf, launched as a district of apartment buildings set among planted woodland on the inland side of the city, and for now an off-plan market. This page is about what is being sold rather than what stands.
The place
The community lies on the inland side of the city near the winter fair and Al Barari's green edge, reached from Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, with Nad Al Sheba and Meydan a short drive and Downtown a longer one. The plan is a set of mid-rise buildings among ghaf trees, the country's national tree, with trails, parks and a community centre between them, built in phases.
What you get
Apartments from studios to family layouts in mid-rise buildings by one developer, sold off-plan with handover dates some years out, consistently finished. There are no villas.
Who it suits
Buyers who want a new flat from the developer of Tilal Al Ghaf in a community built around trees, and will wait for it. Investors taking the developer's record as their guide.
It suits people less well who want to move in, or who need a school or a shop within reach today.
Buying and renting here
