Background and Experience

Sophia, our HR Manager, arrived in the UAE in 2023, with a strong connection through family and friends and many years of travelling to Dubai, she had always wanted to make the move to the amazing Country. 

Sophia graduated with a BA in Ancient History in 2011 and started working in Recruitment and HR after graduation. With many years of experience in different industries, spanning from Public Transportation to Luxury Retail and a professional qualification in HR, it was time expand this by moving to Dubai. Joining McCone Properties has enabled Sophia to continue learning, keeping her on her toes with the local legislations and culture! Sophia has set up the HR department and works with an amazing team who keeps the day to day HR team running smoothly.

Sophia loves to travel, especially where the sun shines (the UK doesn’t get much), she’s always early! And you can find her at the gym, with her cats or around the pool.
